Why I Play the Banjo on Sundays

Sometimes it is easy to fall into the trap of comparison. We are tempted to compare ourselves to others and think we can’t offer much because we are so different. That is where you’re completely wrong. It is your difference that make you able to share God’s grace as only you can. YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SHARE GOD’S GRACE AS YOU. You have a unique set of experiences talents and personality traits. God knows all this and gives you as you trust Christ a special gift to be expressed as only you can.

If you don’t learn what your gifting is and put it to work, your unique way of sharing God’s grace will be lost to the world.

This Sunday I will teach and you will discuss in your small group how to see and release your gifting to the world. Your friend’s family and church need you to be fully employed in using your special abilities to share Grace. You are the only one who can do it like you.

Please come and listen. Invite a friend to come and sit with you. Remember there are people that only your influence can move.  Be sure to put it to work.  The title to Sundays message is ‘WHY I PLAY THE BANJO ON SUNDAYS”

Blessings
Joe

Please prayerfully read the following scriptures and consider the questions.

1 Peter 4:10-11 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (11)  Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

  5. In what ways could you uniquely share God’s grace?
