Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
We pray that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! God has blessed us in so many ways. A special blessing we have is being a part of the body of Christ. Matthew 18:20 states, “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”. As we come together on Sunday Jesus will be in our midst.
This Sunday Pastor Danny and I will be serving together to present the Word of God to you. Before Sunday please read over the following Scriptures and think about the questions.
We love you all!
See you Sunday,

PREPARING FOR SUNDAY: SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS
The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those
who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalms 145:18-19
Do a search on what the Bible says about the nearness of God.
What are some of the promises God has made to those who draw near to Him?
How can you draw near to God?
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your
hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8
Why is it difficult to draw near to God?
But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. Psalms 73:28
In what way would being aware of the nearness of God transform your everyday life?
I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
How does drawing near to God strengthen you?
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Matthew4:17
Why did Jesus emphasize repentance as a means of drawing near to God?
How can we best pray for you?
