It’s hard to know what to think about when it comes to Gods healing. On one hand, the tv preachers claim to heal everyone and everything. Yet they never show up at hospitals and they live lavish lifestyles.
On the other hand, both within and without of the faith people imply that Gods healing isn’t real or that He doesn’t do that anymore. But health is important and health care is expensive. If you read the bible you see Jesus clearly healed people.
Jesus was raised up in His physical body and says He will raise us up one day. How does His risen life in us now give life to our mortal bodies?
How are we to think about our bodies? How are we to hope for healing?
What power does God offer to raise us up for healing and health?
This Sunday we will explore these questions.
Can’t wait to see you.

PREPARING FOR SUNDAY: SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS
Please pray and consider the following scriptures and questions.
What is a Godly way to think about your physical body?
Psalms 139:14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
How are the messages about health confused with youth and beauty in our culture?
How does this affect you?
In what ways is how you take care of your health a sin issue?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. 25 Everyone who competes in the game’s exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; 27 but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
How could not disciplining your body keep you (disqualify) from being able to serve God?
Why does shame and guilt seldom bring lasting change?
How can Gods wisdom and resurrection power help you be healthier emotionally and physically?
What is the relationship between your body and your spirit?
How can feeling bad in your body affect your walk with God?
How can feeling bad in your walk with God affect your health?
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
What is your part in healing?
What is Gods part in healing?
What is your part in living as long as you can as strong as you can to Gods glory?
