Dear Friends,
Praise the Lord for the response to last week’s message.
Many of you have shared what God did for you in last week’s services. For those who missed that time if you can try our website for the feed.
Praying with confidence is important.
The apostle John says you can and should pray with confidence.
1 Jn 5:13-15 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
It is often hard to remember that our confidence in prayer is based on what Jesus did for us and not a list of religious duties.
This Sunday we learn how to pray with freedom and confidence.
We all must learn where found his confidence.
1 Co 2:1-4 And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, 4 and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
We are also celebrating the Lord Supper so don’t miss this special time. I know many of you have been inviting people to Easter services. this message on the cross will be confidence building for every seeker so invite them for this week too.
I can’t wait to share this.
Blessings,
Joe
