Dear Friends,
There’s a great old hymn that speaks of the purpose of prayer.
What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear,
What a privilege to carry, Everything to God in prayer,
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer.
Having an intimate conversation with the God of the universe is such an amazing privilege. He wants us to be in constant fellowship with Him. This Sunday, Pastor Joe has asked me to preach on “How to Pray Through Your Day”. We will be looking at Ephesians 6:18
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
I will share with you some practical ways to have a continuing daily conversation with the Lord.
If you haven’t joined a “40 Days of Prayer”, Small group, it’s not too late. This week’s lesson is “Praying for a Breakthrough”. We all have an area in our lives that seems to weigh us down. We will learn six steps that will lead us into victory. I am praying that you will join a group.
