The Holy Spirit - Week One - Power Shortage - Pastor Joe Martin - July 6, 2025
Dear Friends,
Living a life like Jesus isn’t simply hard; it is impossible without the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not called or expected to live our lives alone in our own power.
Jesus said.
John 14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. 18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
We need the Holy Spirit to lead and empower our lives to follow Christ.
This Sunday, I start a seven-message series on “THE HOLY SPIRIT.” If you find yourself in spiritual doldrums, I will show you how to raise your faith sail to catch the fresh wind of the Spirit. He is ready and willing to move if we get our lives and hearts in order. To move forward, we need the fresh wind and fire of God that can change everything. Be sure to pray for an open heart that God can move. Prepare now to attend one of the morning services each week at 8:00 and 11:00 am.
Plan to stay for breakfast and class at 9:30. If we are going to experience God as He wants, He does this work primarily in community.
