Jesus often explained Kingdom principles with stories that left his listeners baffled. How does a camel fit through the eye of a needle, anyway, and what should we make of such confusing illustrations? This class on the parables may not offer all the answers, but together we will try to develop ears to hear what Jesus said, hearts to understand what he meant, and hands that are eager to implement the principles hidden in these entertaining but sometimes bewildering teachings from the gospels.
Course content will consist of scripture reading, some memorization of key passages, lots of challenging questions, and even more lively discussion.
