Sunday Services:
Dear Friends,
I know it is easy to get swept up in many ‘Christmas activities’ that get in the way of the Christ in our lives.
Let me remind you not to do that. Learning to say no is the path to saying yes to what God wants for you. Remember, the celebration of Christmas is about celebrating what God has done, not what you have to stack in.
Make worshiping Christ in your church on Sunday the ‘yes’ you make room for by saying ‘no’ to other things.
I really want to challenge you in this. This Sunday and on Wednesday (Christmas Eve) are great opportunities to invite friends and family to hear the gospel.
- So, as you prepare for Christmas, don’t forget Christ.
- Plan to attend worship this Sunday.
- Plan to go to breakfast and a class.
- Invite at least one person to come with you.
- Pray for the service and your guests.
- Be ready to respond humbly to whatever Go says to you.
This Sunday, I will share how to be born again from the Christmas story.
Let’s rejoice together as we see what God does with His good news.
Remember to include the Christmas Eve candlelight services in your prayers and in your schedule. It will be at 6:00 or 7:30 pm.
I can’t wait to see your face.
Joe
