Saying and thinking something is important to you and what is truly important to you are not always the same. The first followers of Jesus thought they knew what was important to Him, but they were usually wrong. This was never truer than how Christ valued children. Those disciples saw children as bothersome and of less importance. Jesus had to teach them to have hearts that beat with his values.

This Sunday, I will teach how we can live out Christ’s heart for children in this cultural moment. This will be taught at 8:00 and 11:00 am services. We will also celebrate the Lord’s supper. This teaching is directly connected to our ministry approach at TFBC.

We will also have classes and breakfast at 9:30 am. My class is on How to Un-hurry your Life. Also, join us for a river baptism that will follow the 11 am service, so don’t miss that.
