Sunday Services:

The Simple Gospel - Week Three - The Three Gospel Questions - Pastor Joe Martin - April 5, 2026

Dear Friends,

This Sunday is Easter. The Easter season still has a cultural echo in our country that compels many people to be open to attending a church service. This may be a family tradition or something more personal. Many still have a deep memory of times in their past where the resurrection was believed and taken seriously.  It may be like the faint aroma of perfume long after someone has left the room, but it is there.

Whatever the reasons, people are more open to an invitation this Sunday than at any time the rest of the year. To move people from tradition to living hope, there are some steps. We must present the simple Gospel as respectable, desirable, and believable. Once a person wants to believe in the distance to living hope, it is but a short hike up the mountain of faith. Your role is to invite friends and family to come with you. make every effort to bring people under the preaching of the gospel. call, text, ask.

This week includes an expanded breakfast from 9:15 -10:40 AM. A meal is a wonderful opportunity for you to share God’s welcome and your life. Each table will have a setting with four questions to help you get to know and enjoy each other. The worship services will be at 8:00 and 11:00 AM. Pray for me as I do my best with God’s help to present the Gospel respectably. make it desirable and believable. The message seeks to answer the three big questions surrounding the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I really can’t wait for Sunday. I am confident that if we do our part, God will do what only He can do.

1Corinthians 15:20  But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

Blessings,
Joe
