The matters of the heart are a mystery. It is easy not to notice the gradual changes that take place in our hearts. Often we don’t see it until actions or words erupt from us in surprising ways. “I didn’t know I was so,”  we may say. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flows the springs of life.”

The heart can cool long before we realize we have moved from hot devotion to lukewarm complacency. Though we may not notice it, this cooling always follows a similar pattern.

This Sunday, I will show you the cause and the cure of a cooling heart.

Please attend the gathering for this message, “COOL CHRISTIANS.” Make it a priority to come at 8:00 or 11:00 a.m. service. We plan to share breakfast and a class at 9:30 a.m. down in the fellowship hall.
