Dear Friends,

Having a goal has great power to both limit and liberate your life. If your goal is clear and easy to remember, you will recognize what you should and should not do to achieve it.

Several weeks ago, I taught on this verse.

1Timothy 1:5-6  But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6  For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion.

You can see how this goal can keep you from fruitless discussion and words that do not edify. This Sunday’s teaching will move beyond asking what love requires. The message will give you four things to do to move forward in loving like Christ. We will also take the Lord’s Supper at the 8:00 and 11:00 am services.

Remember to invite and remind others to gather. I can’t make you love so much that your desires and priorities change. I can only give you the tools and practices that help you grow in love as the Holy Spirit moves within you.
