Dear Church Family,

This Sunday we come to the final week of our Together series.

Over the last three weeks, we’ve watched the early church devote themselves to Jesus, share life together, and be transformed together. This week, we’ll see what happened as that transformed community became visible to the people around them.

Acts 2:47 says they were “praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”

That verse reminds us that the church’s witness is more than what we say. The way we love one another, make room for one another, serve one another, and live faithfully with Jesus can make Him visible to the world around us.

But being well thought of was not the finish line. People were meeting Jesus. People were being saved. And Luke is careful to tell us who was doing the saving: “the Lord added to their number.”

As you prepare for Sunday, I’d encourage you to think about one person God has placed in your life who needs to know Jesus. Pray for them by name. Ask God to help you make room for them, love them well, and be ready to share what Jesus is doing in your own life.

We don’t have to manufacture the results. Our responsibility is faithfulness. The results belong to God.

This Sunday we’ll talk about what it means to be a church that is not only devoted together, sharing life together, and transformed together—but also reaching together.

Be with Jesus.

Become like Jesus.

Do what Jesus did.

Together.
