Easter Sunday - "Why Christ's Resurrection Matters" - Pastor Joe Martin - March 31, 2024
Dear Friends, This Sunday, we remember and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For many of you, this is a day of sincere rejoicing and hope. For most others, this is a traditional observation with family that may include a church service and a meal later in the day. No matter what place people may be in their faith, we want to show the welcoming love of Christ as we gather for worship. This is a wonderful day to gather and hear each other’s stories and hear the greatest story of all: the gospel. I promise that if you bring friends and family, they will hear the gospel. More than that, we want to come and bring friends and family to breakfast at 9:30 am. This will be a space where you can share your life and the gospel in stories and a shared meal as it comes about. Does it matter if Jesus really was raised from the dead? We will explore this clearly. We will consider why it matters and how faith in the resurrection of Christ should change your life. Please make plans to attend one of the services at 8:00 or 11:00 a.m. Invite others to share a meal with you at 9:30 a.m. Most importantly, pray for more than people coming. Pray that each person has a heart to know God. I can’t wait to see you. Joe To read Pastor Joe’s preparing for Sunday, click here. |
